Version 1.4.0
- Recipe Ratings - We’ve added the ability to rate and leave comments on public recipes. Ratings are expressed as a score ranging from 1 to 5, while comments are text that users can enter as they wish but are published only after being moderated by Liffo Support. Ratings and comments can be submitted both on the recipe detail page and on the recipe summary page to capture impressions of the dish just prepared. When a user submits a rating, it is immediately published for the recipe, and the user will see the score they assigned on the recipe cards and in the recipe details, regardless of other ratings; if, however, they have not submitted a rating, they will see the average rating calculated from all ratings submitted by other users on the recipe cards and in the recipe details. As for comments, as soon as they are submitted, they are screened by Liffo’s AI to verify the appropriateness of the content, and once this step is passed, they are sent to Liffo Support for final moderation. Comments are published only if they pass moderation; if they fail moderation, the user receives an email explaining the reasons for rejection. From the recipe details, you can view all ratings and comments submitted by users. Any user can add, edit, or delete their rating and comment at any time.
- Guided ingredient loading - Now, when loading ingredients, each ingredient is displayed and highlighted in the order in which it should be placed in the container, and the scale’s display provides audible and visual cues when the required weight is reached. If enabled, the Liffo voice will also guide the user step by step.
- Improvements to AI-powered recipe generation - We’ve enhanced AI-powered recipe generation, which now not only uses a new, more advanced model but also implements a new two-step generation strategy that allows for the inclusion of specific tips and steps tailored to each recipe type.
- Missing Parts - Pause Button - Currently, if one of the covers is removed during preparation, the recipe pauses and a pop-up appears highlighting the missing item; when the cover is replaced, Liffo automatically resumes from the pause and continues with the preparation. In this version, a button has been added to the missing parts pop-up that allows the user to leave the preparation on pause if they need to perform other preparations.
- Manual Controls - Option to Turn Everything Off When the Timer Expires - During manual controls, you can now set the timer to have Liffo turn everything off (scoop, induction, and water dispensing) when the timer expires. This option can be changed at any time by updating the timer, and when it is enabled, the message “Stop in:” appears on the timer.
- Recipe Editor - AI-Made Changes Highlighted - In the recipe editor, Liffo’s AI processes each step once it has been entered or edited to infer, where possible, the values for duration, induction power, water volume, and spatula movement from the text, and sets these values in the step. Now, the changes made by the AI are highlighted to make it clearer to the user where the AI has intervened.
- Liffo auto-reset if the last user disconnects - If a user is the only user connected to a Liffo and chooses to disconnect from that Liffo via the mobile app, the system informs them that the Liffo will be reset to factory settings, and this occurs if the user confirms. If the user disconnects while the Liffo is turned off or unreachable, the Liffo will revert to its factory settings the next time it reconnects to the Internet.
- Bugfix - Fixed an issue with logging out of the mobile app where the app could remain in an indefinite waiting state instead of returning to the login page.
- Bugfix - Added some checks during the “keep warm” process at the end of a recipe.
- Bugfix - Recipes created with an excessive amount of ingredients, or those that end up in this state because ingredient master data parameters have been modified, could previously be unexecutable, and their status was not correctly reported. Now, if there is a lower number of servings for which they can be executed, they are still made available with the correct maximum number of servings, and in case of issues, these are clearly visible in the recipe details.
Version 1.3.1.2 / 1.3.2
- Reheat function - Available on the recipe completion page, this function allows you to reheat a recipe that has already been completed but not yet plated with a single click. To reheat, Liffo brings the food to 90°C and keeps it at that temperature for 3 minutes, stirring gently. The user can still intervene with the manual controls if they want to reheat the food differently from the suggested setting.
- Cook More Function - Available on the recipe completion page, this function allows you to continue cooking the dish using the same mode used in the last cooking step of the recipe. With a simple click, you can cook the food for an additional 2 minutes and vary this time as desired. The user also has the option to modify the proposed cooking time by adjusting the manual controls. At the end of the additional cooking time, the user returns to the end of recipe page, where they can customize the changes made and save them in a new recipe.
- Support - Uploading images to tickets and notification of replies - Users can now open a ticket from a mobile device and attach images from their gallery or directly from their camera. In addition, when Liffo support replies to the ticket, the user receives a push notification on their mobile device. By pressing on it, they are taken directly to the ticket where they can read the reply.
- Manual controls - Video animation when the timer expires - In addition to the sound and flashing LED, the expiration of the timer is now also highlighted on the screen with a flashing animation.
- Improved AI recipe generation - Improved salt management in recipes by making Liffo Spoons the preferred standard unit of measurement.
- Ingredients note - Added the ability to specify notes in the recipe editor regarding the preparation of ingredients in jars. These notes are visible both in the summary of containers to be prepared for the recipe and when loading ingredients, where they are also read aloud by Liffo.
- Bugfix - Instant carousel stop when covers are removed. Previously, if the carousel had started moving and the user removed a cover, it would still finish its movement, whereas now it stops instantly.
- Bugfix - Partial translation issue resolved. Translation management improved to avoid partially translated recipes.
- Bugfix - Management of compatibility errors for functions that require later versions of the app. If an unrecognized feature is requested on the mobile app, instead of giving an error, it invites the user to check for app updates.
- Bugfix - Correction of allergen management in recipe copying. In previous versions, allergens from the original recipe could remain after copying.
- Bugfix - Enabling of safety checks in manual checks at the end of the recipe. When moving to manual checks at the end of the recipe without having finished the recipe, all safety checks now remain active.
- Bugfix - Fixed an issue that could occur if manual controls were used during the “Keep Warm” function.
- Bugfix - Reactivated the camera after resuming from a pause.
- Bugfix - Removed the incorrect reporting of missing covers when the recipe is paused.
Version 1.2.0
- Sharing recipes between users - It is now possible to share a recipe with another user by sending them a special link from the recipe details page. If you share a public recipe, the recipient will open the recipe details directly by clicking on the link. If it is a private recipe, a copy will be generated for the recipient when they select the link they have received. Sharing is possible from both the mobile and web apps, as well as from Liffo; in the latter case, it will be done by presenting a QR code that can be scanned by the sender to send the link or by the recipient to access the recipe.
- Liffo updates via app - When Liffo detects that a new software version is available, a push notification is sent to the mobile device and, if the user has the app open, a pop-up alert also appears, allowing the user to request the update remotely. In the Liffo settings, it is also possible to search for and launch new updates on mobile devices.
- Improved virtual assistant - The assistant can now redirect you directly to the page for generating a new recipe with AI or opening a new support ticket.
- Changes made to the recipe highlighted - If, during execution, the user makes changes to the recipe and then decides to generate a new recipe with the customizations, all changes made to the original recipe are now highlighted in the editor.
- Highlighted AI recipe generation - AI generation has become much more visible, both on the recipe homepage and on the search page.
- Editor - Maximum per jar in ingredient details - In the editor, when viewing the details of an ingredient, the maximum weight of that ingredient that can be placed in a single jar is now displayed. This helps the user to better understand the division of ingredients into jars and the increase or decrease in the number of jars as the portions of a recipe vary.
- Improved salt management in AI recipe generation - Improved AI recipe generation now produces more consistent results in terms of salt and Liffo spoon usage.
- Improved heating of containers before emptying - To improve the emptying of ingredients, when multiple containers are used in the same step, all containers are now heated in rotation, not just the first one, based on the time available. Furthermore, if the recipe has been programmed with sufficiently long refrigerator use (more than 90 minutes), refrigeration is interrupted before the start of the recipe and all jars that require it are heated preventively before the recipe is executed and will then be heated again before pouring.
- Option to ignore missing pot notification - To avoid blockages due to pot detection issues, as was already the case for the paddle, it is now also possible to ignore the notification of a missing pot.
- Bugfix - Fixed an issue where increasing the cooking time of a recipe excessively could lead to a situation where water was requested in the tank in order to execute the recipe, even if the tank was full.
- Bugfix - When postponing the execution of a recipe, Liffo now always goes to the page showing the status of the refrigerator, the recipe start time, and the time remaining. Previously, there were paths that could take the user to the search results page, where the status of Liffo with the scheduled recipe was unclear.
- Bugfix - Fixed a bug where the video tutorials on cutting ingredients might not have been visible on Liffo.
- Bugfix - Fixed an issue where, if water ran out while a recipe was being prepared, the recipe would pause without informing the user about the lack of water.
- Bugfix - The status of manual controls in pause mode has been made more visible. Previously, there were situations in which the Liffo could go into pause mode, for example to remove a cover, but if the user was in manual control mode, this pause was not evident and no message appeared indicating the missing part.
- Minor fixes
Version 1.1.5
- Release notes in app - Release notes for released versions are now also available in Liffo apps (mobile, web, and Liffo). The list of new features and fixes released will be available in the Liffo details in the settings, on the software update page, and in the support section next to the current version of the app.
- Timer with notification and synchronization between apps - The timer is now synchronized between Liffo and the mobile app. When the timer expires, Liffo emits an acoustic signal and flashes its status LED in order to attract the user's attention as much as possible.
- New ingredient recognition model - A new ingredient recognition model has been added for recording. The new model can distinguish up to 28 ingredients. In particular, the new model recognizes: oil, onion, pasta, rice, sliced carrots, tomato sauce, diced zucchini, peppers, grated cheese, garlic, chicken, diced pumpkin, diced eggplant, tomatoes, mushrooms, peas, milk, cuttlefish, parsley, olives, fresh cheese, butter, shrimp, green beans, beef, potatoes, chickpeas, and pork cheek.
- Display of date and version of approved documents - The legal notes indicate the date, time, and version of the last acceptance.
- Advance initialization of Liffo at the earliest opportunity - Liffo no longer waits for a recipe or manual check to start in order to initialize itself, but does so as soon as it is turned on and all covers are in place.
- Access to Wi-Fi networks without a password - Access to Wi-Fi networks without a password is now permitted.
- Option to disconnect a Liffo from the app - From the mobile and web app, the user can select a Liffo and remove it from their profile in exactly the same way as when the user deletes themselves from the user selection page on the Liffo. If the user is the only one associated with the Liffo, further confirmation is requested and, if confirmed, the Liffo is reset to factory settings.
- Blade and pot check before manual controls - Added blade and pot check even before allowing any action in the manual controls section.
- User manual - Link to the user manual in the support section. For mobile and web apps, the link opens the online manual PDF directly, while on Liffo it opens a QR code that, when scanned, redirects to the manual.
- Fix - Fixed the issue where Liffo was not accessible during First Time Use until it was completed.
- Fix - Fixed the automatic deactivation of the critical error pop-up when the problem was resolved, which in some cases did not occur.
- Fix - Fixed incorrect reporting of water dispensing issue after reinserting the tank.
- Fix - Fixed issue that could occur when deleting notifications.
- Fix - Fixed issue with the mobile recipe editor where the keyboard could overlap the edited field.
- Minor fixes.
