    Newsletter policy

    Data Subjects: Newsletter subscribers.

    In accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of the European Regulation 2016/679, we inform you that Robomagister Srl, with registered office at via Fanti, 2, postal code 42124 Reggio Emilia, email: info@robomagister.com, as the Data Controller, processes your data (e.g., name, surname, email address) to fulfill your request for sending the newsletter and registering you in the mailing list for sending informational messages and commercial and promotional communications related to the activities and products of Robomagister Srl via email, using software systems managed by third parties, including by entering them into the Data Controller’s CRM, in full compliance with the principles of lawfulness and fairness and the provisions of the law. Providing your personal data is optional; however, refusal will prevent the Data Controller from fulfilling your request to subscribe to the newsletter and inform you about Robomagister Srl’s updates.

    The legal basis for the processing is Article 6.1.a) of the GDPR.
    At any time, you may object to the processing using the unsubscribe link always available at the bottom of the email or by sending a request to the Data Controller at the contact details provided in this policy.

    Your personal data will be processed electronically and/or telematically, using cookies (as indicated in the cookie policy available on the website), through electronic devices using third-party software, automated contact methods (e.g., automated email campaigns), in compliance with the methods outlined in Articles 6 and 32 of the GDPR, and by adopting the necessary security measures provided for.
    To compare and possibly improve the results of communications, the Data Controller uses systems for sending newsletters and promotional communications with reports. Through these reports, the Data Controller can know, for example: the number of readers, opens, unique clickers, and clicks; the devices (iPhone, Blackberry, Nokia…) and operating systems (Windows, Apple, Linux, Android…) used to read the communication; details on individual user activities; details of emails sent by date/time/minute; details of delivered and undelivered emails, forwarded emails; the list of unsubscribed users; who opened an email or clicked a link; users with display issues; link tracking (i.e., the number of clicks on the links in the message); click tracking (which links were clicked and by whom). All this data is used to compare and potentially improve communication results.

    Your data will be processed by appropriately authorized personnel and will be communicated externally to companies acting as independent Data Controllers or Data Processors:

    • External entities providing cloud services;
    • Providers of technical assistance services.

    Your data may also be viewed by the company managing the website, strictly limited to technical access for maintenance and server management needs.

    For the sending of business communications, your data may be transferred to countries outside the European Union: such transfer is legitimate as it is guaranteed by the existence of adequacy decisions issued by the European Commission and/or standard contractual clauses for protection based on the models adopted by the European Commission pursuant to Article 46 of the GDPR.
    You may request from the Data Controller a copy of the safeguards adopted for the extra-EU transfer of your personal data, as well as information about the locations where these safeguards have been made available, by submitting a specific request to the Data Controller via email at info@robomagister.com.

    We inform you that, in compliance with the principles of lawfulness, purpose limitation, and data minimization, under Article 5 of the GDPR, the retention period for your personal data is established until you decide to unsubscribe from the service or object to the processing.

    You have the right to obtain from the Data Controller the deletion (right to be forgotten), restriction, updating, rectification, portability, objection to the processing of your personal data, and, in general, you can exercise all the rights provided by Articles 15 and following of the European Regulation 2016/679 by writing to info@robomagister.com. The data subject has the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority.

    1. The data subject has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or non-existence of personal data concerning them, even if not yet registered, and to receive their communication in an intelligible form, as well as the possibility of filing a complaint with the supervisory authority.

    • The origin of the personal data;
    • The purposes and methods of processing;
    • The logic applied in case of processing carried out with the help of electronic tools;
    • The identity of the Data Controller, the processors, and the representative designated under Article 5, paragraph 2;
    • The subjects or categories of subjects to whom the personal data may be communicated or who may become aware of them as designated representatives in the state territory, data processors, or authorized personnel for processing personal data.
    1. The data subject has the right to obtain:
    • Updating, rectification, or, where appropriate, integration of data;
    • Deletion, transformation into anonymous form, or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, including those for which further retention is unnecessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or subsequently processed;
    • Certification that the operations mentioned in points (a) and (b) have been communicated, also with regard to their content, to those to whom the data has been communicated or disseminated, except when this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort compared to the protected right;
    • Data portability.
    1. The data subject has the right to object, in whole or in part:
    • For legitimate reasons, to the processing of their personal data, even if relevant to the purpose of collection;
    • To the processing of personal data for the purposes of sending advertising materials or direct sales or for market research or commercial communication.
