Information Notice for Data Subjects: Users of the Contact Section

In compliance with Articles 13 and 14 of European Regulation 2016/679, we inform you that Robomagister srl, with registered office at Via Fanti, 2, 42124 Reggio Emilia, email: info@robomagister.com, as the Data Controller, processes your data (e.g., name and surname, email address, phone number) to respond to your requests. The provision of data for the management of the contact service is optional but necessary for the execution of the contract under Art. 6.1.b). With your consent provided by selecting the appropriate marketing checkbox, your data will be used to send commercial and advertising information regarding informational messages and promotional communications about Robomagister’s activities and products, sold under the Liffo brand, through traditional means (e.g., phone calls, postal mail, individual emails, etc.) or automated contact methods (e.g., automated email campaigns, SMS, automated phone calls, instant messaging, social networks, etc.), third-party software systems, including their entry into the Data Controller’s corporate CRM, in full compliance with the principles of lawfulness and fairness and legal provisions.

The provision of your data for this purpose is optional and does not affect the response to your information request. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6.1.a.) of the GDPR. You can oppose the processing at any time by sending a request to the Data Controller at the contact details indicated in this notice.

Your personal data will be processed manually, electronically, and/or telematically, using cookies (as indicated in the cookie policy available on the website), through electronic computers using third-party software and automated contact methods (e.g., automated email campaigns, SMS, automated phone calls, instant messaging, social networks, etc.), in compliance with the methods of Articles 6 and 32 of the GDPR and by adopting the adequate security measures provided for.
To compare and potentially improve communication results, the Data Controller uses systems for sending newsletters and promotional communications with reports. Through these reports, the Data Controller can know, for example, the number of readers, openings, unique clicks, and clicks; the devices (iPhone, Blackberry, Nokia, etc.) and operating systems (Windows, Apple, Linux, Android, etc.) used to read the communication; details about the activities of individual users; details of emails sent by date/time/minute; details of emails delivered and not, those forwarded; the list of unsubscribers from the newsletter; who opened an email or clicked on a specific link; users with message display issues; link tracking (i.e., the number of clicks on links in the message); click tracking (which links were clicked and by whom). All these data are used to compare and potentially improve communication results.

Your data will be processed by properly authorized personnel and communicated externally to companies acting as independent Data Controllers or Data Processors:

  • External entities providing cloud services;
  • Technical support service providers.

Your data may also be viewed by the company managing the website, limited to technical access for website server maintenance and management needs. The complete list can be requested by writing to the Data Controller’s contact details.

For the sending of corporate communications, your data are transferred to countries outside the European Union; this transfer is legitimate as it is guaranteed by the existence of adequacy decisions issued by the European Commission and/or standard protection clauses based on models adopted by the European Commission pursuant to Art. 46 of the GDPR. You can request a copy of the safeguards adopted for the non-EU transfer of your personal data, as well as information on where they have been made available, by making a specific request to the Data Controller at the email address info@robomagister.com.

We inform you that, in compliance with the principles of lawfulness, purpose limitation, and data minimization, under Art. 5 of the GDPR, the retention period of your personal data is established for a period not exceeding the provision of the services rendered and, in case of consent for marketing purposes, until you decide to unsubscribe from the service or object to the processing.

You have the right to obtain from the Data Controller the deletion (right to be forgotten), restriction, updating, rectification, portability, objection to the processing of your personal data, as well as to exercise all the rights provided by Articles 15 and following of European Regulation 2016/679 by writing to info@robomagister.com. The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority.

EU Regulation 2016/679: Articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 – Data Subject Rights

  1. The data subject has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or non-existence of personal data concerning them, even if not yet registered, and their communication in an intelligible form, as well as the possibility to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority.
  2. The data subject has the right to obtain information about:
    • the origin of the personal data;
    • the purposes and methods of processing;
    • the logic applied in the case of processing carried out using electronic tools;
    • the identifying details of the Data Controller, processors, and the representative designated under Article 5(2);
    • the entities or categories of entities to whom personal data may be communicated or who may become aware of it as designated representatives in the territory of the State, processors, or personnel authorized to process the personal data.
  3. The data subject has the right to obtain:
    • updating, rectification, or, when interested, integration of the data;
    • deletion, anonymization, or blocking of data processed unlawfully, including data that do not need to be retained for the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed;
    • certification that the operations in letters a) and b) have been notified, including their content, to those to whom the data were communicated or disclosed, unless this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort compared to the right protected;
    • data portability.
  4. The data subject has the right to object, in whole or in part:
    • for legitimate reasons, to the processing of personal data concerning them, even if relevant to the purpose of collection;
    • to the processing of personal data concerning them for the purpose of sending advertising material, direct sales, market research, or commercial communications.
